Leeanna Billups

When the path you're on becomes to hard to face alone, there is help. Sometimes, all we need is someone to show us genuine compassion. There isn't a single one of us who can successfully navigate this life alone. Whether you have suffered from childhood maltreatment, a major life event, depression, in search of career counseling, or just need someone to listen; I am here to create a safe atmosphere where you can feel accepted. I am willing to partner with you, as you embark on your healing journey, allowing you to enjoy a more peaceful life.

I practice from an emotion-focused perspective. Most of our emotional injuries occurred within our relationships that were less than loving. There is a way back from the hurtful places you have found yourself lately. I also believe that over time negative thoughts about ourselves can distort our true identity. Changing our thought processes can play a significant role in our healing journey.

I am currently under supervision with Dr. Trisha Brown. I respect cultural differences and strive to provide an atmosphere of acceptance for all ethic, religious, and economic backgrounds. I have a desire to provide services for anyone wanting to embrace the healing process. I don't want deny anyone services due to a lack of resources; we can work together to set your counseling fee based on your income.

"You don't need someone to complete you. You only need someone to accept you completely,"Dr. Carl Rogers
